Minneapolis Advertising Agency, Minneapolis PR Firm: Pocket Hercules

Tiny Footprint Coffee

In 2010, Pocket Hercules partnered with local coffee roaster, Roastery 7, to create Tiny Footprint Coffee, the world’s first carbon negative coffee brand. How it works is like this: when people buy Tiny Footprint, trees are planted in the Mindo Cloudforest in Ecuador. Once mature, these trees offset the carbon impact of growing, harvesting, shipping and roasting the coffee, and help to rebuild critical bird habitats in the region. So in addition to being delicious coffee, there’s a lot of good karma in every cup. Pocket Hercules created the brand, the logo, the identity, the packaging, the website, the tradeshow booth and the digital advertising to launch the product.

TINY FOOTPRINT COFFEE: Packaging

In the spirit of sustainability and environmental responsibility, Pocket Hercules designed packaging that utilizes eco-friendly kraft paper and bucked the industry standard 12 oz. bag in favor of a larger 16 oz. bag to help reduce waste.

TINY FOOTPRINT COFFEE: Website

As further proof that a proper brick and mortar storefront is no longer necessary to launch a successful retail brand, the Tiny Footprint Coffee website was designed by Pocket Hercules to make it easy for visitors to buy coffee, learn more about its mission and participate in the discussion via social media all in one place. Kind of like any great coffee shop would. Visit tinyfootprintcoffe.com
